The Customer: The person booking a course

Course: Title of training service being booked

Workbook: A programme of distance learning study

Product: Any non training item

Currency: All charges and payments are in £ Sterling

VAT: Is applicable to all items except distance learning workbooks and text books


Section 1 Training at the GMT TEC Training Centre


Payment & Booking

The Customer will contact The Company via phone, or email to ascertain if places are available. If places are available and The Customer wishes to book, payment can be made via credit card, cheque or cash. When payment is made and funds have cleared booking is then confirmed. Fees will be a daily rate not per delegate.


VAT is payable on all courses.


Cancellation by The Customer

If The Customer cancels a place on a course after they have paid and within 14 days of the course being delivered with no alternative date being made with The Company within a 4 month period then The Customer will forfeit 75% of the course fee, 25% of the balance invoice will be returned to you.


For any cancellation to be valid it must be received in writing prior to the date the course was due to be delivered.There are no refunds for any unused portion of the course should it be uncompleted by you.


Cancellation by The Company


In the unlikely event of your course being cancelled by The Company, owing to circumstances beyond its control (e.g. fire, flood, illness) The Company liability is limited to the amount of any money you have paid to The Company.


The Company holds the right to alter or cancel any course. Should this happen an alternative date will be offered or you have the right to a refund of all monies paid to The Company. The Company shall not be liable for any other costs incurred by you in relationship to attending the course.


Promotional Offers

Promotional offers will be relevant for the duration of the time stated at time of order.Refunds of course purchased under a promotional offer will be based on the terms of the promotional price.


Course Prices & Content

The Company reserves the right to change any of the prices or contents of the course or module. If there are any changes The Company shall notify The Customer before entering into any contract. The fees paid by The Customer will be as stated by The Company at the time of booking and on an invoice.


It is your responsibility to satisfy yourself that the course contents are appropriate for you and/or additional members of your team’s experience and requirements, if you have any concerns regarding suitability you must contact The Company.


Equipment for the Course

All equipment is provided for the training; however for some courses The Customer will need to purchase a kit to facilitate practice. Details will be given to The Customer by The Company at time of booking.


Complaints

You should communicate any failure of the course whilst the course is taking place, thus giving The Company, through their trainer, the opportunity of achieving a solution. Should this not be possible for any reason, your complaint must be made in writing to The Company within 7 days after the completion of the course.


Your Health

It is a requirement that The Customer is generally in good health. It is essential that The Customer with any relevant medical concern makes it known to The Company prior to the course.


Limitations of Liability

The Company, The Company’s employees, associates, consultants, assignees and co-operative agents do not accept responsibility or liability for death, bodily injury or illness caused to you, unless proven to arise from negligence by The Company. Any claims shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.


Other

The Advanced Electrolysis courses are only for people aged 18 years and over who hold a nationally recognised electrolysis qualification (NVQ Level 3 in epilation or equivalent), except for the Electrolysis Finishing School and Blend courses which may be delivered to students.


Law

All disputes arising out of any agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the course of England. If any part of these terms and conditions shall be found to be unlawful, it shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the conditions.


Section 2 On-Site Training


Payment & Booking

The Customer will contact The Company to arrange a mutually convenient date for the training to be delivered at The Customer’s business.


VAT is payable on all courses.


The Customer will pay the petrol expenses for the trainer which will be agreed and added to the balance invoice.


If applicable The Customer will also book and pay for overnight hotel accommodation for the trainer the night prior to delivery of the course, which will be discussed when the date is booked. The Customer will forward the address, post code and telephone number of the hotel at least 7 days prior to training delivery along with directions to the training venue from the hotel.


The payment procedure will be as follows:


The Company will send to The Customer two invoices:


1. Invoice 1 will be a deposit invoice for 20% of the course fee and travelling expenses, which is payable within 7 days to hold the date booked. Until this payment is received by The Company the course is NOT deemed to have been booked and the date agreed could be given to another. Upon receipt of the 20% deposit payment written confirmation will be sent to The Customer along with course details, requirements and invoice


2. Invoice 2 is the balance invoice for 80% of course fee and travelling expenses, payment must be received not less than 14 days prior to the course date. Should the balance payment not be received by 13 days prior to the course date then the booking will be treated as cancelled by The Company and any deposit payment will not be refunded as it then becomes a cancellation fee. If the payment is received after the 14 days prior to the course deadline we will contact you to arrange an alternative date if the original date has been taken by another buyer, or discuss whether the previously arranged course can still take place.


3. If the booking is made less than 21 days prior to the course date only one invoice will be issued which will be for the total cost and payment of this is required by return post to confirm the booking. Until payment is received the course is NOT deemed to have been confirmed and the date could be given to another buyer. Upon receipt of this payment written confirmation will be sent to you.


Cancellation by You


If you cancel your course after the balance invoice has been paid i.e. within 14 days of the course being delivered and no alternative date is made with The Company within 4 months then you will forfeit 75% of the course fee, 25% of the balance invoice will be returned to you.

It is your responsibility to satisfy yourself that the course contents are appropriate for you or additional/other delegates experience and requirements, if you have any concerns regarding suitability you must contact The Company.If undertaking an electrolysis course which requires you to have available a certain number and type of model with facial red veins, skin tags of a particular size or hair in specific places and they are not available at the time required so that the course cannot be delivered as a result, The Company will not be able to certificate you. This is especially pertinent to skin tag training where The Company states there needs to be a minimum of 5 skin tags the size of a small pea or larger.


Equipment for the Course


A list of equipment and model requirements will be sent to you prior to the course and it is your responsibility to ensure that everything stated is available at the time the course is delivered if not this may mean The Company is unable to certificate you.


Complaints

Your Health

Section 3 Products


Payment & Booking


The Customer will pay by credit card through the website for the products ordered or can pay by cheque by contacting The Company.


VAT is payable on all products.


Product Fees


Are as stated on the website at time of order.


Delivery


The Company will deliver the workbooks paid for by The Customer to the address The Customer states on the order form, as soon as the credit card payment has been cleared.


In the case of payment by cheque The Company will post the workbooks or products to The Customer when their cheque has cleared, please allow 7 working days from receipt of your cheque for this process.


Cancellation by you


If during 7 days from receipt of workbook material, The Customer changes their mind and does not want the workbook material then The Company will refund in full the fees paid by The Customer. The refund will be subject to the return of the workbook material in original condition, received by The Company at the time of the refund request. The Customer must meet any expenses incurred in returning materials, directly to The GMT Group office at P.O. Box 7241 Hinckley, Leics. LE10 1WG.


The refund request must be made in writing to The Company.


Cancellation by The Company


In the unlikely event of your workbook being withdrawn by The Company, or it being unable to supply owing to circumstances beyond its control (e.g. fire, flood, illness) The Company liability is limited to the amount of any money you have paid to The Company.

Refund of workbook material purchased under a promotional offer will be based on the terms of the promotional price.
