Hair Extensions To Transform Your Look

Hair is the most distinctive feature of one’s appearance. People style, groom themselves with different hairstyles and colours, and take pride in that. Good hair can boost our confidence. It is therefore very important and precious to both men and women. Too many experiments with your hair can damage it. Straightening, curling, or even dyeing too much can lead to weak hair and hair loss. No one wants to lose his or her hair. Not only hair is important for your appearance but it also protects your scalp. Extra care should be taken to maintain a healthy hair. However, making a good impression to people...

Beat the frizz

With the weather becoming a little more humid, this is often the time many of us experience the dreaded hair frizz. You can have perfectly straighten hair and within a few hours of being out the house, feel like you have been in a wind tunnel and find your hair is not lying flat as you wanted it. If you have fine hair or hair that has a slight natural curl then this problem may affect you more than others. Finding a good hairdresser

Finding a hairdresser that you trust and that does a good job is not as easy as it sounds. I have spent many years’ trialling different salons to try and find one that I can return to again and again but After having a really good experience at one just over a year ago, I booked to go back to find that the hairdresser had gone on maternity leave and the replacement hairdresser was not qualified and unfortunately damaged my hair, so I started my hunt again. Recently a new product has come to market that promised all the hassles and stresses of curling your hair would be wiped out. I must admit I was extremely sceptical as many products previously had also claimed similar things. The Babyliss Curl Secret does do exactly what it says. With its innovative technology, curling your hair...

Top tips for using Velcro rollers

If you are looking for big bouncy curls and have mid length to long hair then Velcro rollers could be for you! Having tried many different ways of achieving this look I have a few tips that will make using these rollers easier and achieve the optimum result:- Always secure the rollers with bobby pins or section clips, these rollers do claim to be self-gripping but I have never managed to get them to stay in without a clip to secure them. Use the rollers on dry hair, preferably not just washed hair as the curl will take better. Use a large barrel curling tong...

Hair – to extend or not to extend that is the question

You only have to flick through any current fashion mag and you’ll see pages of beautiful models with long tousled locks, how do they get their hair like that, so long and healthy looking??  I like most women go to my hairdresser and say the line that I’m sure they are immune to ‘None of the length please’ and before you know it you leave with a bob! The answer is extensions, it takes years and years to grow hair that length and some people’s hair will just break off at that length and look lank with masses of split ends. However extensions do come...
